Art "n" the Schools

Second annual Art "n" the Schools Art Contest and Field Trip

 

Athletes for Life™ has been serving public and private schools for the past 34 years. Last year, we launched the Art “n” the Schools Art Contest and Exhibit, in collaboration with the LA Art Show. The main purpose of this collaboration was to interject art and craft back into the school system, and we are excited to continue our Art "n" the Schools Art contest and Field Trip for the upcoming edition of the LA Art Show in 2025.

 

Firstly, there is the contest conducted in partnership with the LA Art Show starting this September and running through December 31, 2024.

 

Students are encouraged to submit their art online. The curating panel from the LA Art Show will judge the competition. These curators will select the top three pieces that will premiere at the 2025 LA Art Show inside the AFL Art "n" the Schools booth. Winners and their parents will be invited to the VIP Opening Night. For more information about the show, please visit LA Art Show.
 

Our contest will allow middle and high school students the opportunity to display their talents worldwide. The LA Art Show is open only to galleries as participating exhibitors, and each show has over eighty international galleries, which is exciting since most artists understand the importance of having the proper gallery behind them.

 

Secondly, there is our private tour of the show. Here, staff members will take groups of thirty on an hour-long tour of the LA Art Show. Students will view a broad selection of the finest art in the world and meet some of the finest artists. These artists will share tips, concepts, ideals, and more with your students while motivating them to see themselves in the art world.
